What's wrong with this picture?

There's an old saying that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Our response to the Wayne Master Plan Revision.

and we encourage you to do so. Certainly you, are making your voice heard.

But the petition has far more-reaching implications. It could likely lead to more petitions which could be directed to our voice being heard at the ballot box. This is not a political issue — whatever party you supported in the past — today we must support Wayne - Town above Politics. Wake up, speak up and work together and make this happen! Our voice can and will be heard at the ballot box starting with the election this November, electing a Mayor with an active, pro-business agenda. It can be done if we all vote together to do so.

We must also remind ourselves that three Council-at-Large are up for election. If any of these Council members vote for this plan, we have the ability to replace them at the ballot box. The candidates running against them should be pro-business. Even those not up for re-election — should they vote for this plan — can be replaced at the ballot box with pro-business candidates through a re-call election.

Petitons have other strategic leveraging points but more on that later.

Here's what you do to sign the petition below

Send us your name and town to:

We will post your name and town here so your voice will be "seen", if not heard. Hopefully, the Town Administration will look at this site and be responsive to the petition. Hope springs eternal!

Your email address will NOT be used

But we can and will separately keep you up-to-date with the Plan that is moving through the Town Administration at lightning speed. Surely, this web site will be unusally "dynamic" as well.

We, the undersigned, residents of Wayne, hereby demand that the Wayne Township Planning Board, and the Mayor and Town Council reject the proposed Master Plan Amendments and accompanying zoning changes that would change Wayne's commercially zoned properties to mixed-zoning (including low income and high density residential properties).
